ÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering Renita Horton, left, was a guest on SuperTalk Mississippi's "Good Things with Rebecca Turner" radio show Thursday [Oct. 25]. Horton discussed her ongoing research on heart disease and sickle cell anemia. SuperTalk also hosted several other faculty researchers throughout the day, as well as ÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø President Mark E. Keenum on the JT Show and Athletics Director John Cohen on Sports Talk Mississippi. The talk radio network was broadcasting live from the Colvard Student Union as part of the university's #StateProud Week, celebrating ÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø's many accomplishments and the extraordinary people behind them.
